These are the rules of using GigScenes — for fans, bands, venues, promoters, and services. Last updated when these were ported here.
By creating a GigScenes account or using any part of our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our GDPR notice.
If you do not agree to any part of these terms, please do not use the service.
You must be at least 16 years old to create a GigScenes account, in line with UK GDPR consent requirements.
By signing up you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to provide it.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that show signs of unauthorised access, abusive behaviour, or breach of these terms.
You retain ownership of the content (gig listings, profile copy, photos, etc.) you upload to GigScenes.
By posting content, you grant GigScenes a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content within the GigScenes platform and in related promotional contexts (e.g. weekly emails, embed widgets).
You confirm you have the right to post any content you upload, including all rights to images, logos, and text. We may remove content that infringes third-party rights or violates our acceptable-use policy below.
Paid plans (Super Fan, Band/Artist, Venue, Promoter, Services) are billed monthly in GBP. You authorise us to charge your nominated payment method at the start of each billing cycle.
You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — no refunds for partial months.
We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
You agree not to: post unlawful, defamatory, or misleading content; impersonate another person, band, or venue; attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the platform; or use GigScenes to spam other users.
Automated access to GigScenes (bots, scrapers, integrations) requires written permission. A public read-only API is on the roadmap.
All GigScenes branding, design, and software is owned by or licensed to GigScenes Ltd. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the platform without prior written permission.
Third-party trademarks (band names, venue names, etc.) shown on the platform belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
GigScenes provides gig listings and discovery tools but is not the organiser of any event listed on the platform. We are not responsible for cancellations, line-up changes, ticket disputes, or any harm arising from attending an event.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GigScenes Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
You may delete your account at any time from settings, or by contacting us. Account deletion removes your personal data per the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where possible.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and via a notice on the platform at least 14 days before they take effect.
Continued use of GigScenes after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
